It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of William Jordan Kinnett, MSN, APRN, ACNPC-AG, AAHIVS, at the age of 36.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a memorial service honoring his life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Love officiating. An additional gathering for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
A dedicated healthcare professional, Jordan devoted his career to the field of infectious diseases, working at Care Connect Infection Disease in Cordele, where he made a significant impact on the lives of many patients and colleagues alike.
Born in Tifton, GA, to Dianne and Jimmy Kinnett, Jordan was known for his compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to his work. His passion for helping others extended beyond his profession; he was a loving husband to Brayden Kinnett, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesse Howell Sr. and Mary Ella Howell; and his paternal grandfather, Herbert Kinnett Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving husband Brayden Kinnett of Leesburg; parents, Jimmy and Dianne Kinnett of Leesburg; siblings, Ashley Kinnett and Melissa of Leslie, and Kayla Kinnett Luckie and Brent of Smithville; 6 nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Luckie, Wyatt Luckie, Cohen Kinnett, Sophia Luckie, Sutherland Luckie, and Chase Kinnett; paternal grandmother, Doris Kinnett; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends that loved him dearly.
Jordan's warrior spirit, infectious smile, and dedication to his family and friends will be profoundly missed. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and professionalism that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Rest in peace, dear Jordan. Your light will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either The Trevor Project, the American Heart Association, or the Lee County Animal Shelter in Jordan's name. All of these charities were dear to his heart.
