Mr. William “Bill” Outler Herrington, 91, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at First United Methodist Church of Albany with Rev. Thad Haygood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Following the services, he will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery beside his wife. Born November 29, 1928, in Roberta, GA, Mr. Herrington was the son of the late Charles and Lorine Herrington. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and later went to work as an Insurance Adjuster. Mr. Herrington was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Albany and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. He also served as a member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club of Albany and was an avid bridge player. A loving father, grandfather, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynetta Lucille Herrington. Survivors include his children, William Herrington Jr. of Leesburg, Cindy Romine and her husband Jeff of Ringgold, GA, and Karen Kenna and her husband Bob of Pace, FL; grandchildren, Robert Kenna, Katie Romine, A.J. Romine and his wife Susie; and two great-grandsons, Dalton and Ben. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Phillip Roberts and Phoebe Hospice for their compassionate care of Mr. Herrington. Joseph W.
