Wendall Perry Cone

Mr. Wendall Perry Cone, 68, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Services honoring the life of Mr. Cone will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763. Rev. Allen Bingham will officiate. Born November 22, 1947 in Tifton, Mr. Cone was the son of the late Perry Oliver Cone, Jr. and Nannie Blakley Cone. He retired from the City of Albany and was a loving family man who provided well for his family. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and loved to laugh and tell jokes. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his loving wife, Debra Ann Strawder Cone; son, Jonathan Perry Cone and daughter, Misty Cone all of Leesburg; brother, Gary Cone and his wife, Tracey of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Brent and Isabella Cone both of Leesburg and a special cousin, Jerri Poe and her husband, Wayne of Tifton.
