Virginia Louise Davis

Mrs. Virginia Louise Davis, 58, of Cordele, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Crisp Regional. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday January 10, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church in Cordele with Bro. Ricky Smarr officiating. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. A native of Cordele, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late Robert L. Guy and Nancy Flint Guy. She had worked for the Crisp County School System as a bus driver and was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Cordele. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her son, Kevin L. Davis. Survivors include her husband, Danny L. Davis of Cordele; son, Danny J. Davis of Cordele; daughter, Connie D. Sewell of Vienna; brother, Robert and sisters, Carol and Margaret and two twin grandchildren, Kevin and Garrett Swell.
