Vincent Stephen "Steve" Basko, Jr.

Mr. Vincent “Steve” Basko, Jr., 51, of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Leesburg with Dr. Joshua Posey officiating. Following the funeral Steve will be laid to rest in the Leesburg Cemetery.

Born October 27, 1971, in Albany, Steve was a hard worker that delivered for Tuff Trucking. He was kind, humble, and never seemed to meet a stranger. He was a Florida State Seminoles fan, liked watching NASCAR, and enjoyed R.C. racing. More than anything he loved God, his family, and his dog, Pedro. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Stephen Basko, Sr.; and his cousin, Amanda Starr Lamb.

Survivors include his wife, Mandy Reddick Basko of Leesburg; his mother, Martha “Marti” Lamb Radcliffe of Albany; children, Blake Basko and Kayla of Leesburg, Michael Reddick of Albany, and Christian Thompson of Albany; 2 brothers, Chris Basko and John Shearer both of Albany; 3 grandchildren, Mya, Kennadee, and Timothy; special cousin that was like his brother, Brian Moore; several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home.
