Vicky Dawn Harris Abbott

Mrs. Vicky Dawn Harris Abbott, 77, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her home. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in The Walden Chapel of First United Methodist Church of Albany. Rev. Scott Stanfill will officiate. Born August 22, 1940 in Cadillac, MI, Mrs. Abbott was the daughter of the late Francis Harris and Mildred Knapp Harris. She worked in the real estate industry for many years and enjoyed spending the summers at her Michigan home. She enjoyed bowling, Tennis, swimming and lived an active and fun life. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Albany. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Abbott, Sr.; sister, Nancy Fortelka and her brothers, James and Ronald Harris. Survivors include her children, Robert (Kelly) Abbott of Round Rock, TX and Kim Norris of Ellabell, GA; four grandchildren, James, Melissa, Dillon and Ashley; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; several nieces; nephews and cousins.
