Vicki Lynn Giet

Mrs. Vicki Lynn Giet, 73, of Leesburg, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home.

According to her wishes, there will be no formal service.

Born July 9, 1950, in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Betty Furby Sharp. Vicki worked for many years cleaning houses until her retirement. She enjoyed cleaning and was good at what she did. She was caring and compassionate and would help anyone in need but also had a funny side and loved to joke around. Vicki loved going shopping, making jewelry, planting flowers, playing cards, cooking and baking treats, and spending time with her family and friends. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Wilhelm.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Carl Thomas Giet of Leesburg; children, Michelle Stevens (Craig) of Naples, FL, and Chris Giet of Leesburg; grandchildren, Brinnie Stevens, Kylie Stevens, Brice Giet, and Olivia Giet; sisters, Debbie Stacks (Wally) and Bobbi Wiseman; and her two beloved fur babies, Ronnie and Marty.

Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Giet family.
