Tony Curtis Anthony

Mr. Tony Curtis Anthony, 67, of Albany, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2024, in the chapel of Sherwood Baptist Church with Rev. John Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Born September 15, 1956, in Douglas, he was the son of the late Curtis and Euris Morgan Anthony. He was currently employed at the Marine Corps Logistics Base and had previously retired from Merck Chemical. Tony was a hard-working man who loved the Lord and his family dearly. He was known for his quick wit and ability to make others laugh. He never backed down from a good debate. He enjoyed motorcycle racing and watching the Braves play. Tony was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, John “Jack” and Betty Powell; and nephew, Jared Kurt Anthony.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 50 years, Kathy Anthony of Albany; children, Paul Anthony (Leigha) of Asheville, NC, and Wormy “Keith” Anthony (Kimmie) of Forsyth; brothers, Michael Anthony (Noleen) and Kurt Anthony (Laurie) all of Albany; grandchildren, Aaron Anthony (Anna Laine), Dylan Liles (Kaley), Jacob Anthony, Camden Anthony, Madeline Anthony, Hanna Anthony, Max Anthony, and Brayden Allen; niece, Halie Edmunds (Brandon), and Suzanne Anthony; nephew, Brannan Anthony (Ansley) , and Michael Anthony; great-nephews, Canaan and Briggs; and several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
