Steven "Steve" Mason Braswell

Mr. Steven “Steve” Mason Braswell, 74, of Albany, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Bethel Holiness Tabernacle. Pastor Noah Phillips will officiate with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, in Sylvester.

Born on February 6, 1951, in Moultrie, Steve was the son of the late Calvin and Martha Smith Braswell. After graduation he served his country in the National Guard. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in education and spent many years teaching elementary and middle school for Dougherty County. He loved The Lord, his family and greatly enjoyed reading the Bible. Mr. Braswell was a faithful member of Bethel Holiness Tabernacle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Sue Carol Willis Braswell; his daughter, Kristen Jolly of Albany; grandchildren, Steven Swilley, Ethan Swilley, Sarah Swilley, and Sue Ann Jolly all of Albany; his brothers, Mickey Braswell and Susan, Mark Braswell, and Craig Braswell; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church.
