Steven Mcknight

Mr. Steven McKnight, 45, of Leesburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at his home. The family will host a private memorial gathering honoring Steven’s life. Steven was born November 6, 1974, in Camp Lejeune, NC to the late Albert and Carolyn Ann McKnight. He proudly served our country in the United States Marines in the reserves and active duty. Later, he worked as a Paramedic and at the medical intensive care unit at Phoebe but most recently worked as an IT specialist for Tara Foods. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and working with computers. Above all, his greatest accomplishment was his three beautiful children. Steven will be greatly missed by all. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kailyn McKnight of Statesville, NC, Emily McKnight and Logan McKnight both of Mooresville, NC; his siblings, Jennifer Hammond (Jake) of Leesburg, Michael McKnight of Leesburg, and Jessie McKnight of Atlanta; and his beloved Aunt Sue Dye of Lee County; and Uncle Michael Dye of Tampa.
