Shirley Marie Daniel

Ms. Shirley Marie Daniel, 72, of Leesburg and formerly of Worth County, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg. Rev. Donnie Phillips will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born December 13, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa Shirley was the daughter of the late Bobby Edward Clark and Imogene Louise Gurnea. She worked as a pet groomer for many years, loved her two dogs, Halfpint and Ella and her cats. She was of the Christian faith and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her she was preceded in death by her brother, David Clark.

Survivors include her children, Tabitha Patton and Thomas, Shanna Ross and Van, and Jeana Johnson and Scottie; sister, Cheryl Barber; stepfather, Richard Gurnea; 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Chris, Brooke, Rick, Matt, Bryan, Adallyn, Leah, Lizzie, and Landon; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends one hour before the funeral at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home.
