Russell "Rusty" Reed

Mr. Russell “Rusty” Reed, 62, of Tifton and formerly of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia, in Tifton. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in the Leary Cemetery with Bro. Mike Cannon officiating. Born August 5, 1959, in Albany, Rusty was the son of the late Harold and Barbara Hurst Reed. He worked as a mechanic for many years, enjoyed fishing, and was a talented singer that loved country music. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby, and Annza Reed of Leesburg; nephews, Grayson Reed and Chad Clark; and nieces, Rachel Yoder and Tara Clark.
