Robert David Adair

Mr. Robert David Adair peacefully passed away at his home in Albany, GA on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Services will be private. Robert David Adair was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Albert Joseph Adair and Frances Keller Kazsupski. Graduating from Lincoln High School in 1954, Robert went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in chemical/mechanical engineering from Drexel University. While working as a chemist at Smith, Kline and French in Philadelphia Robert met his eventual wife Julia Adair. After completing a tour in the Army, Robert and Julia married on June 20, 1959. Robert spent a large part of his career working at Congoleum Flooring in Trenton, NJ. Robert enjoyed golfing, and he regularly met for lunch with his fellow Romeos (Real Old Men Eating Out). In his later years, Robert volunteered with his wife Julia for the CARIE organization, educating seniors on the benefits available to them, and tutoring at-risk children for the Bensalem public schools. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Julia, his parents, and his brother Albert John Adair. Survived by half-sister Virginia Peterson, daughters Kimberly Ann Burnette (Mark), Lynn Adair, grandchildren Kenneth Adair Robinson (Crystal), Keith Michael Robinson, Kristen Michelle Moore (Douglas), and great grandchildren Brian Lee Robinson, Landon Chance Robinson, Emmalynn Grace Robinson and Jackson Moore, as well as nieces Karen Adair, and Tracey Jones. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association. Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg, GA was given the honor to serve the Adair family.
