Richard Conner

Mr. Richard Conner, 78, of Worth County, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Services will be private for the family only.

Born February 8, 1945, in Jacksonville, FL he was the son of the late James “J.G.” Conner and Mary Frances Hale Conner. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and later retired Civil Service from the Marine Corps Logistics Base of Albany after 26 faithful years. Richard was known as the horse man and was a member of the Worth County Saddle Club. In his free time enjoyed fishing, reading, and drinking his Budweiser. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard “Shawn” Conner.

Survivors include his two daughters, Julie Conner (Corey) of Worth County and Jo Luke (Jonathan) of Albany; sisters, Mary Margaret and Betty June; five grandchildren, Kelly, J.D., Joey, Kristina, and Mark; and one great grandchild.
