Reba S. Harrell

Mrs. Reba Self Harrell, 74, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Doerun. Rev. Scott Tomlinson will officiate with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Born April 3, 1943 in Worth County, Mrs. Harrell was the daughter of the late David Self and Stella Driggers Self. She worked as a secretary for several years and retired from Subway. Mrs. Harrell enjoyed going to the beach and listening to the waves. She also enjoyed cooking and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Renee Harrell and her brother, Everett Self. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, James E. Harrell of Leesburg; children, Michael J. (Rhiolyne) Harrell of Leesburg and Lisa (Brian) Granberry of Lee County; sisters, Geneva Etheredge and Lavonia (Carl) McDonald; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
