Rainer "Rene" Puissant

Mr. Rainer “Rene” Puissant, 79, of Macon, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. The family will host a celebration of life at Natalia’s in Macon at a later date. Born August 28, 1941, in Munich, Germany, Rene was the son of the late Theodore Puissant and Anna Muschke Puissant. He was a well cultured man who was fluent in 6 different languages and had previously worked VIP services for Lufthansa, the German airline, at Kennedy Airport where he would fly world wide and translate for US dignitaries. He most recently retired as a mechanical engineer from Kubota of Gainesville. Rene loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a wonderful father and anyone who met him instantly loved him. A beloved father and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Marcel Puissant of New York, New York, and Christian Puissant of Warner Robins; his significant other, Nancy Farage of Macon; and a host of extended family and friends.
