Norma Jean Elwood

Mrs. Norma Jean Elwood, 87, of Albany, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Phoebe Senior Living. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate and interment will follow at Culley’s Meadow Wood Memorial Park in Tallahassee, FL. Born August 17, 1929 in Fort Parrish, FL, Mrs. Elwood was the wife of the late Jay P. Elwood. She retired from JCPenney and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Leonard Ray Dierham of Texas ; special friends and caregivers, Jacqlyn Harrell and family of Cuthbert and Ronnie Pate and family of Leesburg and her church family at Lakeside Baptist Church of Albany.
