Mr. Mickey Basko, 67, of Albany, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of May 21, 2021, at Willson Hospice House. Mickey retired from AIM Enterprise Inc. in Rancho Cordova, CA then returned to Albany to reunite with brothers, sisters, and other family members. A huge San Francisco 49er fan, he shared his support for the team with his kids Bill and Sarah. He loved golf, fishing, and playing softball. Another source of joy was coaching Bill in Little League and teaching Sarah how to play softball. Another way Mickey found laughter was dancing with his kids as Beverly yelled from the kitchen that they were supposed to be cleaning, which made them all laugh. Survivors include his children, a daughter, Sarah Willis (Austin Willis) of Nashville, GA, A son, Billy Baggett (Jordyn Batcheller) of San Antonio, TX; 4 grandchildren, Madysun 11, Levi 9, and Hunter Willis 6 of Nashville, GA and Aiden Thomas Baggett of San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his oldest brother Vincent and his brother-in-law Douglas Van Tassel. He is survived by two sisters Mary and Connie and three brothers Donnie (Karen), Edward (Paula), and his twin Rickey (Kim) along with a large number of other relatives. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.josephwjones.com. Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg has been given the honor to serve the Basko family.
