Michael G. Moyer

Mr. Michael G. Moyer, 54, of Leesburg, passed away, Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the Leesburg Cemetery with Rev. Joseph W. Jones officiating. Born February 12, 1963 in Fort Belvoir, VA, Mr. Moyer was a good mechanic who enjoyed working on race cars. He worked for Sunbelt Ford of Sylvester for several years, enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Moyer was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Moyer and his sister, Jan Marie Moyer. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Barbara and Ronald Hawthorne of Leesburg; daughter, Pamela Moyer of Leesburg; son, Brandon Moyer of Worth County; sister, Mary Lee Jones of Leesburg; aunt and uncle, June and Bob Cross of Brooksville, FL; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763.
