Matthew Scott Tucker

Matthew “Matt” Scott Tucker, age 26, of Albany, passed away on January 23, 2022. Visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29th in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Harrell officiating. Born June 1, 1995, in Albany, he was the son of Misti Langley and Scott Tucker. Matthew was a lifelong resident of the Leesburg and Albany area and was a 2013 graduate of New Beginnings Christian School. He loved to play pool, listen to music, fish, and cut up with his buddies but more than anything he loved being a father. He was the life of the party everywhere he went and could make anyone laugh. He adored his kids and spending time with family meant the most to him. He was a straightforward type of guy and you never had to doubt where you stood with Matthew. He was the proud business owner of Dreams to Reality Home & Commercial Services LLC. where he specialized in remodeling. A beloved father, son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Michael Langley; and two cousins, Jan Phillips, and Austin Brown. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Gabriel Reigel-Tucker and Gracelynn Tucker; mother Misti Langley of Leesburg; father, Scott Tucker and Paige of Albany; paternal grandparents Janie and Shelton Tucker of Albany; maternal grandparents, Vicki and Bill Copelan of Leesburg; siblings, Braeden Siniff, Camren Tucker, AlecZander Langley; step-sister, Heidi Poole; great-grandmother, Lois Tucker; cousins Timothy, Brittani, Ralph Jr., Chase, Lynleigh, Conway, Daniel, Jacob, Justin, Ashley, Peyton, Avery; and a host of aunts, uncles, friends, and extended family that loved him dearly. Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Tucker family.
