Mary E. Kelly

Mrs. Mary E. Kelly, 75, of Albany, peacefully passed away on May 1, 2019 surrounded by her family. The family will hold a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Albany. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Ashford, AL to the late Shelby Andrew Johnson and Ruby Skinner Johnson. She enjoyed caring for others and worked many years as a certified nursing assistant. She was a one of a kind lady and known by her family as a “firecracker” with a heart of gold. Mrs. Kelly enjoyed arts and crafts and loved to color. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kelly; two daughters, Ruby Ann and Marie; son-in-law, Ernest Ramsey; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Survivors include her son, Robert Price (Sabrina) of Sylvester; daughters, Sue Ramsey, Evelyn Stanton (James), Avie Price (James Sawyer), and Randi Dixon all of Albany; 33 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
