Mrs. Martha Louise Massey, 87, of Albany and formerly of Tifton, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, at New Hope Full Gospel Church in Sylvester. Rev. Kenneth Thompson will officiate. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church. Born September 27, 1933, in Vienna, Mrs. Massey was the daughter of the late Luscious and Myrtle Ruth Stewart Christmas. She loved God, her family, and her dog, P-NUT. She retired from Seabrook Plant in Sylvester and was a member of First Assembly of God of Tifton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her children, Gene Shellhouse, Elaine Slee, and Sandra Anderson. Survivors include her son, Jimmy Shellhouse and Linda of Tifton; sister, Louis Phillips of Eastman; grandchildren, Melissa Evans and Michael of Albany, Kim Price of Brunswick, Ronnie Duckworth of Douglas and Tammy Holton and Stacy of Moultrie; 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
