Marilyn Eloise Strickland

Mrs. Marilyn Eloise Strickland, 79, of Leesburg passed away on Monday morning December 25, 2023, at her home.

Born on March 12, 1944, in Moultrie, Mrs. Strickland was the daughter of the late Charles and Inez Daye Connor. She worked for years with Proctor and Gamble and cared well for her family. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, and fishing. Most of all she loved her family and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband, Covie Strickland, Jr., and siblings, Charlene, Janice, and Frankie.

Survivors include her children, Jody Vinent of Leesburg, Covie Strickland III. and Rhonda of Leesburg, and Casie McGinn and Pat of Eclectic, AL; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Nadine, Shirley, Marie, John, and Joan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Strickland services will be private.
