Margaret Ann Spurlock

Mrs. Margaret Ann Spurlock, 84, of Leesburg, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Pastor Noah Phillips will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Born February 11, 1938, in Eufaula, AL, Mrs. Spurlock was the daughter of the late Alton and Martha Riley Chandler. She worked as a caregiver for many years, enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus more than anything and was a faithful member of Bethel Holiness Tabernacle for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spurlock was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Lee Spurlock, and daughter, Bettina Dukes. Survivors include her daughter, Tonia Bentley and John of Leesburg; son, Andrew “Andy” Spurlock of Leesburg; grandchildren, Misty, Stacey, Chrissy, Kelly, Morgan, Nicky, Michael, and Ashley; several greatgrandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.josephwjones.com.
