Mrs. Linda Jean Fleming, 68, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Willson Hospice House.

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones

Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bass officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born on April 4, 1956, in Albany, Linda was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Jean Morris Parrish. She worked for several years in the mail room of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed working in her rose garden, loved all her family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lee Fleming; children, Veronica Burns of Leslie, Chandler Fleming of Montgomery, AL, Kelly Fleming, and Kimberly Fleming both of Leesburg; 2 sisters, Patsy Morris of Albany, and Rosalee Blakley of Leesburg; 2 brothers, David Parrish and Leslie of Ellaville, and Buddy Parrish and Kay of Leesburg; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel, Alyssa, Clayton, Madison, Ana Kate, and Emersyn; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
