Linda Faye Connell

Mrs. Linda Faye Slagg Connell, 60, of Albany, passed away, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Lighthouse Ministries, 2320 Liberty Expressway, Albany, GA. 31705. Rev. Chris E. Turner will officiate. A native of Albany, Mrs. Connell was the daughter of the late Lyle and Freda Teasley Slagg. She worked in accounting and retired with over thirty years from the Dougherty County School System in January of 2015. She enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Michael Don Connell of Albany; two daughters, Amanda Stubbs and Michelle Connell both of Albany; two sisters, Patricia Henderson of Jacksonville, FL and Trudy Slagg of Gainsville, FL; two grandchildren, Mason and Peyton Stubbs and her brother-in-law, Larry Connell of Albany. The family will receive friends following the service at Lighthouse Ministries.
