Lenora Vaughan Laney

Mrs. Lenora Vaughan Laney, 95, of Leesburg, GA passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Americus. The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany, GA. Dr. Todd Sullens and her nephew, Steve Vaughn will officiate. Born July 17, 1922 in Lindale, GA, Mrs. Laney was the daughter of the late Abraham Gideon Vaughan and Bessie Roberts Vaughan. She was a loving and caring homemaker that loved her family dearly. Mrs. Laney volunteered with The American Red Cross and was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church of Albany. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Laney was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Quinton Laney, Sr. Survivors include her children, Mona Smith and Mark of Leesburg and Kermit Quinton Laney Jr. and Mary Ann of Lincolnton, GA; grandchildren, Brian Andrew Davis and Kimberly, Jason Quinton Laney and Ashley, Amanda Michelle Eubank and William, Kelly R. Smith and Erin and Ivy Smith Pitts and Adam; great-grandchildren, Flint Andrew Davis, Brily Dawn Davis, Coast Andrew Davis, William Harold Eubank IIII., Charles Vaughan Eubank, Eddie Mitchell Pardue, Jaley Ana Laney, Haley Alana Laney, Quinn Marie Laney, Embrie Claire Pitts, Delanie Margaret Pitts, Emerson Faith Chastain, Bristol Wrenn Cape and Kileigh Alyssa Cape.
