Layla Elizabeth Loosier

Layla Elizabeth Loosier, 29, of Leesburg, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at The Vine Church, 242 Walnut Avenue, S Leesburg, GA 31763. Pastor Jamie Baggett will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born on April 23, 1995, in Albany, Layla was full of life and loved helping others. She worked as a certified Peer Specialist at Aspire. She attended The Vine of Leesburg and will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, companion, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Loosier, Loy Loosier, and Oscar Loosier, Jr.; and her grandfather, Jesse Paul McDaniel.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Heather Averett and Chester of Dawson; father, Oscar “Mike” Loosier, Sr. and Lori Anne of Leesburg; children, Chrystofer Reeves and Corban Reeves both of Leesburg; her life partner, Jacob Bacon of Leesburg; siblings, Jade Haggerty and Brett of Albany, Michael Loosier and Karlea Layton of Florida, and Jonathan Loosier of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Laykin Loosier, Ellerie Mae Loosier, Lyla Rayckley, Alyssa Alex, Ansley Alex, Grant Wood, and Kolton Jesse Loosier.
