Lawrence Henry Mckenna

Mr. Lawrence Henry McKenna, 57, of Albany, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Schluckebier officiating. Born February 3, 1963, in Camp Lejeune, NC, Lawrence was the son of Laurence and Janice McKenna. He worked as a cardiology technician with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for over 27 years where he retired. He loved to hunt, fish, and had a big heart that loved everyone. He enjoyed sharpening knives and trips to Wal-Mart. A beloved son, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Francis McKenna. Survivors include his mother, Janice McKenna of Albany; and sister, Margaret McKenna Streat and her husband Travis of Waycross. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.josephwjones.com.
