Katie Cravey Weeks

Mrs. Katie Cravey Weeks, 83, of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Philema Road Baptist Church. Pastor Aaron McCulley will officiate with interment to follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Norman Park. Born October 24, 1934 in Omega, Mrs. Weeks was the daughter of the late Guy Mitchell Cravey and Evelyn Finley Cravey. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her kitty cats. She also enjoyed cooking and painting ceramics. She attended Philema Road Baptist Church of Leesburg. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Thomas Weeks, Sr. Survivors include her children, Barbara LeBleu of Albany, James “Tommy” Thomas Weeks, Jr. (Ann) of Leesburg and Susan Denise Weeks-Hufstetler of Leesburg; sisters, Opal Weeks of Tifton and Estel Evelyn Perry of Claxton; brother, Earnest Cravey of Tifton; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy and Ann Weeks, 236 Hartley Lane Leesburg, GA 31763 and 30 minutes before the service at the church. Joseph W.
