Juliette Strange Terry

Mrs. Juliette Strange Terry, 96, of Leesburg and formerly of Ellaville, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in the Ellaville City Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Born July 13, 1924, in Ellaville, Mrs. Terry was the daughter of the late Robert and Essie Wilson Strange. She was a devout Christian woman who was very active at Ellaville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School to children for many years and served as the church secretary. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed cooking. Survivors include her nephew, Robert Powell and his wife Debbie of Cordele; nieces, Judy Powell of Leesburg and Cyndi Geeslin and her husband Clay of Leesburg; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kelly Terry.
