Jeffrey Charles Hammond

Jeffrey Charles Hammond, 24, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Services honoring his life will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Avalon United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior from 11:00 a.m. – 12 Noon. Following the service, interment will take place in the Riverside cemetery. Rev. Eric Newman and Rev. Debbie Cone will officiate. Born November 23, 1997, Jeffrey was the son of Susan Fowler Harrison. He worked as a bread distributor for Flowers Bakery and will be greatly missed by everyone he saw each day on his route. Jeffrey was full of life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was someone who enjoyed all things hunting and fishing and brought light to every room he entered. Above all, Jeffrey adored his wife and baby girl. He was truly a wonderful husband and daddy. Everyone who met Jeffrey instantly fell in love with him and his charismatic charm. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Samantha Hammond of Leesburg; daughter, Mailynn Hammond; mother, Susan Harrison (Lester) of Albany; siblings, Maggie Hammond, Joshua Hammond, Jared Hammond, and Brittany Harrison; grandparents, Ida Fowler and Eugenia and Bob Tullis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
