Janet Catherine Yale Ellis

Mrs. Janet Catherine Yale Ellis, 85, of Cordele, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at WIllson Hospice House in Albany. Born January 7, 1932 in Long Branch, NJ, Mrs. Ellis was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin Yale. She was a loving homemaker that loved her family dearly. She loved the outdoors including fishing, gardening and could even skin a gator. She was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughters, Catherine McKinnon and Cecil of Fort McCoy, FL, Carolyn Mears of DeLeon Springs, FL and Cynthia Ellis of Cordele, GA; brother, Bobby Yale of Long Beach, NJ; 7 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
