Mr. James “Jamie” Garrett Reed, Jr., 39, of Albany, passed away Monday, June 05, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate with interment to follow in the Leesburg Cemetery. Born March 26, 1978 in Albany, Jamie worked in the floor covering industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sue Ann Rombalski and Walter; uncles, Leonard Rombalski and Robin Hart; and aunt, Heather Rombalski. Survivors include his mother, Lisa Katherine Reed and Tim of Leesburg; father, James Garrett Reed, Sr. and Karen of Temple, GA; 7 children, DeAnna Reed, Calli Reed, Cheynne Huddleston, Sierra Huddleston, Adrianna Huddleston, Summer Reed and James G. Reed, III; 2 brothers, Richard Stubbs, Jr and Kim of Albany and Cory Fritts and Kari of Jacksonville, NC; 3 sisters, Kristie Clark and Mike of Anniston, AL, Amanda Lavender and Matt and Meagan Crankshaw and Brett all of Temple, GA; paternal grandparents, Carl and Barbara McFadden of Albany; maternal grandfather, J.D. Davis, Jr. and Diane of Leesburg; 2 uncles, Jeff Davis, III and Michelle and Greg Rombalski; 2 aunts, Margaret Davis and Shari Spradlin and Taskell; longtime girlfriend, Crystal Huddleston; many nieces; nephews and his beloved redbone.
