James Edward Parks, Sr.

Mr. James Edward Parks, Sr., 66, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Willson Hospice House.

Born March 3, 1957, in Tifton, Mr. Parks was the son of the late Clarence and Gladys Goddard Parks. He worked for many years as an auto technician and loved the outdoors. He also liked gardening, spending time with his family, and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Parks was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Elkins Parks.

Survivors include his 3 children, Jamie Swift and Amber of Leesburg, James Edward Parks, Jr. of Tifton, and Alan Blake Parks of Yulee, FL; brother, Carey Parks and Gwen of Tifton; granddaughter, Brittany Revalee; and great-granddaughter, Faithlynn Reardon.

In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Parks, no services will be held.
