Ida Louise Sanders Peters

Mrs. Ida Louise Sanders Peters, 88, of Albany, entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 16, 2019, with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Bethel Holiness Church. Pastor Noah Phillips and Rev. Mark Jordan will officiate the services. Following the service, Mrs. Peters will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville. Born December 6, 1930, in Moultrie, to the late James and Blanch Phillips Sanders, Mrs. Peters was a Godly women who cared well for her family as long as she was able. She was a women of prayer who taught Sunday School, enjoyed singing and reading her Bible. She was a faithful member of Bethel Holiness Church and will be missed deeply by all her family and church family. Survivors include her husband, Elton Peters; children, Kenneth E. Peters and Brenda of Albany; daughters, Rena Zelda Sherood and Wayne of Coolidge and Teresa Milner and Marvin of Albany; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dian Carlisle and two grandchildren, Melody and Joshua. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday evening at Bethel Holiness Church.
