Mrs. Helen Elaine Todd, 55, of Smithville, GA, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services for Mrs. Todd will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home in Leesburg, GA. Rev. Robin Chaplin and Rev. Bob Prince will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Born September 15, 1961 in Albany, GA, Mrs. Todd was the daughter of the late Herschel and Idlene Henry Barfield. She was a caring homemaker who provided well for her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs Todd was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her brother David Barfield. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Todd Jr. of Smithville; her son, Ronnie “Buddy” Todd III of Smithville; her daughter, Kelli Todd of Smithville; Her sister and brother in law, Darlene and Mike Kramer of Guyton, GA; her nieces, Christy and Monte Negi of Savannah and Carrie and Timothy Wainwright of Leesburg. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763.
