Gene Berry

Mr. Harry Eugene “Gene” Berry, 77, of Leesburg, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Willson Hospice House in Albany.

Services honoring his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors being presented.

Born November 10, 1947, in Cairo, IL, he was the son of the late Harry C. Berry and Frances Murphy Berry. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and after his time in the military went to work as a parts salesman selling auto parts. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, taxidermy, and working on small engine repairs. A beloved father, grandfather, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his son Cory Berry and his wife Brittany of Leesburg; and his grandson, Harrison Berry.
