Harold Shelby "Red" Shouse, Sr.

Mr. Harold Shelby "Red" Shouse, Sr., 69, of Smithville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Andersonville National Cemetery. Born December 20, 1946 in Kentucky, Mr. Shouse was the son of the late Shelby and Mildred Shouse. He served his country in the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam Era. He worked for several years as a painter, enjoyed landscaping and enjoyed mowing his fields with his John Deere tractor. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Gipson Shouse of Smithville; children, Hal Shouse of Smithville, Jesse Shouse and Jennifer of Reynolds, Johnny Shouse of Michigan, Mary Shouse of Leesburg and Junior Shouse and Brittany of Smithville; brothers, Mark and Blacky Shouse both of Macon; sisters, Ann, Debbie, Virginia, Barb and Liz and 16 grandchildren.
