Gregory Lynwood Fincher

Mr. Gregory Lynwood Fincher, 60, of Leesburg, passed away on August 21, 2024.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.

Born December 15, 1963, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Lynwood and Myrtle Fincher. After high school Mr. Fincher proudly served our country in the United States Army and later went to work designing golf clubs. He then went on to work as a fiber optic technician and as an electrical helper. He enjoyed playing video games and making things with his hands. He attended First Methodist of Leesburg.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tegan Elizabeth Fincher.

Survivors include his two children, Dalton Fincher (Morgan) of Louisburg, NC, and Laramie Fincher of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Makayla Fincher, Hunter Fincher, and soon to be born Theodore Fincher; brother, Stephen Brent Fincher; sister, Taika; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Fincher family.
