George William Janney, Sr.

Mr. George William Janney, Sr., 66, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his home. A celebration of his life will be conducted Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11 a.m, in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home, 375 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA. 31763. Rev. Allen Bingham will officiate. Born January 28, 1950 in Tampa, FL, Mr. Janney was the son of the late Moses and Claudia Lovern Janney. He was a mechanic for many years, loved life and cared well for his family. He was of the Pentecostal faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Donna Gravley Janney of Leesburg; children, Tanya Moya (Juan) of Spring Hill, FL, George W. Janney, Jr. of Virginia; John Janney (Kristina), Ashley Janney and Justin Janney all of Florida; step-children, Chantal Leiva and Zachary Stoots both of Virginia; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Roger Janney (Ellen) of Leesburg; Timothy Janney, Ethel Brun (Robert), Theresa LoVern (Bill), Karen Janney, Debbie Janney, Lisa Turner (Allen) and Sandy Heslep (Barry) all of Virginia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Janney was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home in Leesburg.
