Mr. George Robert Youngblood, Jr., 76, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2016 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus. Private graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate. Born June 2, 1939 in Atlanta, Mr. Youngblood was the son of the late George Robert Youngblood, Sr. and Annice Sumner Youngblood. . In addition to his parents, Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Turner Youngblood and sister, Gwen Dahl. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cindy Youngblood of Albany and Sam Youngblood of North Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Christopher Peak of Albany and Pam and Sam Warren of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Joanne Bowers of Orlando;10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
