Gary Milton Bailey

Mr. Gary Milton Bailey, 68, of Bronwood, tragically died on Wednesday morning at his home along with his beloved wife, Donna Lail Bailey.

Visitation for both Mr. and Mrs. Bailey will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg.

A joint graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Bronwood Cemetery with Rev. Richard Gill officiating.

Born April 18, 1955, in Americus, Mr. Bailey was the son of the late John C. Bailey and Nellie Phillips Bailey. He worked as a diesel mechanic, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, NASCAR, and in his younger years enjoyed dirt track racing. He was of the Baptist faith and dearly loved his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marion Glenn Bailey.

Survivors include his children, April Schacht and Robert of Dawson, and Gary and Jennifer Bailey of Gray; siblings, Gregory Bailey, and Sandra Bailey Parker both of Bronwood; grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
