Frederick Wayne Dupree

Mr. Frederick Wayne Dupree, 62, of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at his home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home in Leesburg. Born July 31, 1956 in Albany, Mr. Dupree was the son of the late Forest and Mary Mitchell Dupree. He was a manager at Bennett’s Supply and was known as a hard-working man. He enjoyed western movies, grilling and cooking, riding dirt roads and fishing. More than anything he loved The Lord, his family and especially playing with his grandbabies. He enjoyed dancing with his wife and enjoying each day to the fullest. Survivors include his wife, Ella Burns Dupree; son, Michael (Melissa) Dupree of Albany; step-children, Lacy Curlee and Larry Curlee, Jr. both of Albany; grandchildren, Zane, Lily and Haley; his sister, Jane (Joe) Thomas of Leesburg; niece, Wendy (Chad) Friar of Leesburg; nephew, Joey (Melissa) Thomas of McDonough; great-nephew, Justin; great-nieces, Ashton and Sydney and his father and mother-in-law, James and Annette Nalley of Albany. Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home of Leesburg was given the honor to serve the Dupree family.
