Eugenia Woodward

Mrs. Eugenia Woodward, 88, of Leesburg, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Wynfield Park.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held at a later date. 

Born November 2, 1935, in Arlington, GA, she was the daughter of the late Marcine and Myrtice White Bowman. She worked as a CNA for over 40 years in the medical field and later worked as a supervisor of housekeeping for 20 twenty years. When she was able, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and doing crafts. Eugenia was known as an outgoing person who loved to have a good time. A beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, she will be greatly missed by all. 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Woodward; daughter, Yvonne Paul; and her siblings, Patricia Palmer, George “Bud” Bowman, and Vaudine Melton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Richard Paul and his wife Kristina, and Cynthia Paul both of Leesburg; 6 grandchildren, Brian Paul (Katie), Kevin Paul (Amy), Leron Timmons, Tina Dean, Shane Dean, and Melissa Jones; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and her siblings, Dorothy Higdon of Brewton, AL and Mary Shellhouse (Billy) of Dothan, AL.
