Ernest Dean “Dino” Duplechin

Mr. Ernest Dean “Dino” Duplechin, 61, of Leesburg, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at his home.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in the Leesburg Cemetery where he will be laid to rest beside his son. Pastor Jamie Baggett will officiate.

Born May 13, 1961, in Church Point, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Ernest Duplechin and Mary Katherine Fontenot. Dino was a talented cabinet builder and the owner/operator of Cajun Cabinets where he built numerous cabinets for clients of the greater Leesburg area. He could fix just about anything and was a true handyman. In his free time, he loved raising birds, especially quail, enjoyed cooking, and was known as the life of the party. He loved making others laugh and will be greatly missed by all.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Duplechin; brother, Keith Duplechin; and sister, Tanna Fontenot.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Beth Duplechin of Leesburg; daughter, Haley Duplechin of Leesburg; grandsons, Tanner McCray and Levi Duplechin; brothers, Clay Patton (Lisa) of Asheville, NC, and Nick Patton of FL.
