Ms. Elaine Katherine Slee, 64, of Albany, peacefully passed away, early Saturday morning, June 22, 2019 at her home. A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at New Hope Full Gospel Church of Sylvester, 256 Youngblood Rd, Sylvester, GA 31791. Ms. Slee was born September 22, 1954 in Lake Wales, FL to the late Clifford Pitts and Mrs. Martha Massey. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was full of life. She liked to cook, loved flowers, and attended New Hope Full Gospel Church of Sylvester when she was able. Ms. Slee will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Slee; brother, Jene Shellhouse and her sister, Sandy Anderson. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Evans and her husband Michael A. Evans Sr.; her mother, Martha Massey; grandchildren, Jessica Evans, Christina Evans, Gavin Ammons, Anthony Evans Jr., and Merrissa Goodman; 8 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Jimmy Shellhouse.
