Dorothy Frances Wills Bolton

Mrs. Dorothy Frances Wills Bolton, 85, of Dawson, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2023, in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Dawson. Joseph W. Jones will officiate, and the family will visit with friends following the service.

Mrs. Bolton was born in Dawson, GA where she lived her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Cleo and Frances Williams Wills. She was a loving and devoted homemaker that loved reading her Bible. She enjoyed watching Dr. Charles Stanley, Gunsmoke, and loved eating ice cream. Mrs. Bolton was proudly known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Gram and Great-Gram. She was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Bolton was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Jesse David Bolton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Dan Bolton and Lynn, and David Bolton all of Dawson; 2 grandsons, Jesse Bolton and Beth, and Joshua Bolton and Ginny all of Dawson; and 7 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Ella, Aubrey, Morgan, Wyatt, Aiden, and James.
