Mrs. Donna Marie Tauber King, 66, of Leesburg, passed away at her home on August 19, 2021. Due to the rise of COVID-19 in our community, the family has postponed the celebration of life service that was originally scheduled for September 11, 2021. Once rescheduled Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home will update the service information. Daughter of Captain Gerald Tauber of New Jersey and Joanna Martin of Leesburg, she was born on November 15, 1954. Donna was born in Oklahoma but spent most of her life here in Leesburg, GA growing up with her sister and cousins on the family farm owned by her grandfather Gus Martin. She was a fierce strong woman who was married to Joel Scott King for 25 years. She was mother to Amanda Lynn Croft (Jeremy, Adam, and Laura) of Leesburg and Gerald Walter Saliba ( Shannon, Kailyn, Beckett ) of Leesburg. Stepmother to Thomas King (Melanie, Mary Evelyn, Lilly Grace, Sarah Claire). She retired from Lee State Prison and has been enjoying retirement life hanging with girls, traveling, playing a favorite family card game, Books and Runs. She loved spoiling her grandkids and was a force to be reckoned with. She is survived by her husband, Joel Scott King, Sr., her daughter, Amanda and family, her son Gerald and family, her stepson, Thomas and family, her sister, Lisa Tauber Warrener and family, and her cousins, The Bowling Girls (Vicki Timbes, Laura Lea Calhoun, Suzanne McKinney Joseph W.
