Dianne Wells Johnson

Mrs. Dianne Wells Johnson, 69, of Stockbridge, GA passed away Tuesday September 20, 2022, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Putney United Methodist Church in Albany, GA.

To the outside world, Dianne was known as a selfless and compassionate woman. She was raised in Albany, GA and spent her professional career in transportation, hospitality, and most importantly, as a devoted wife and mother. She never met a stranger and would not only give them the shirt off her back but would also cook them a meal. Her hobbies included gardening, garage sales, shopping, cooking, watching cooking shows, listening and dancing to the Oldies, and supporting animal rescue shelters. Most of the conversations she had revolved around her husband, son, grandson, or dog(s). Her passion and devotion was to The Lord and her family. Her spirit will carry on through her grandson, Brooks Holt Johnson.

In addition to her parents Charles and Ramona Wells, Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Debbie Casey and her nephew, Louis Casey.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Holt Johnson; son, Jeremy and Tara Johnson of Bradenton, FL; sister, Donna and Shawn Warren of Petersburg, VA; her grandson, Brooks Johnson; best friend, Kathy Taylor of Leesburg, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
